Reminder: November is National Novel Writing Month
While I won't be participating this year on account of needing to focus on The Messenger and my growing family, I'm always one to give a plug to this event. NaNoWriMo is something I've done almost every year since 2005, and I have the crappy, half written manuscripts to prove it.
That said, it's loads of fun for aspiring novelists, and I would recommend doing it even if you decide to start now. I'm mean, it's only the 2nd. You still have 28.3 days to finish a 50,000 word novel.
